The Crostolo by Pasta Vadese was inspired by a traditional recipe from Urbania. A simple, authentic product made with type “0” soft wheat flour, egg, milk, lard and oil. A product with an authentic flavour, which is quite different to all the other products that it is often mistaken for. A crostolo is not a wrap, nor is it a crescia or a pizza…it is a crostolo! The best way to find out what it is like is to try one.
Thus, we have decided to launch a new brand specifically for this product, the authentic Crostolo del Montefeltro! The crostolo is a typical product from our area, and the crostolo made by Pasta Vadese is an authentic and original product made following the traditional recipe of Montefeltro.
